Designed for candidates who have already invested in ITIL v3, the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition module provides a straight-forward transition path across to ITIL 4. ITIL 4 provides you with comprehensive guidance for the management of information technology in the modern service economy. The ITIL 4 framework is built on established ITSM practices and expands itself to the wider context of customer experience, value streams and digital transformation, as well as embracing new ways of working, such as Lean, Agile, and DevOps. This ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition training course is a fast track for existing ITIL professionals. ITIL 4 Managing Professional modules expand on previous versions by providing a practical and flexible basis to support organizations on their journey to the new world of digital transformation. It provides an end-to-end IT/digital operating model for the delivery and operation of tech-enabled products and services. IT teams are enabled to continue to play a crucial role in the wider business strategy.
The
Transition module enables candidates to gain the up-to-date skills and
knowledge needed to navigate the digital service economy, whilst recognizing
their previous achievements. It consists of mandatory 5-day training and exam
at the end of the course. Successful candidates are awarded the ITIL 4 Managing
Professional designation.
The
Transition module covers the key concepts introduced in ITIL 4 Foundation, as
well as important elements of the below modules from ITIL 4 Managing
Professional:

To qualify for the
transition module, candidates need to hold ITIL v3 Expert or a minimum of 17
credits from ITIL v3 qualifications.
NOTE: There is an official
discontinuation date announced for this module as of 1 July 2022. After
that date, candidates who want to start their ITIL 4 journey should first
take ITIL 4 Foundation
Please note - you are also able to use 15 credits from ITILv3
Lifecycle and/or Capability, including ITIL v3 Foundation + ITIL 4 Foundation,
as a valid prerequisite.
